The Area 17 final of the International Speech and Evaluation contests were held in
Charleville on April 9. Results were:
Speech contest
1. Tony O' Regan (Speakeasy Toastmasters Mallow).
2. Kevin Walsh (Fermoy).
Evaluation contest.
1. Pat Sexton (Speakeasy Toastmasters Mallow).
2. Brian O' Farrell (Fermoy).
