The Area 49 finals of the International Speech and Evaluation contests were held at the Oriel House Hotel on April 6th. The results of the contests were as follows:
Speech contest
1. Tom Hebel, Apple Toastmasters Cork.
2. Stephen Day, Bishopstown Toastmasters.
Evaluation contest
1. John Keating EMC Toastmasters.
2. John O' Donovan, Bishopstown Toastmasters.
Tom Hebel and John Keating will represent Area 49 at the Division A Finals, to be held at the Oriel House Hotel, Ballincollig, April 21st, 2;00pm for 2;30 start.
